Friends of the Historial

    WELCOME !

    Join the Friends of the Historial of the Great War and contribute to its cultural and heritage outreach. As members of the association, the Friends support the work of the Historial and enjoy a range of benefits.
    Families come first, and all workshops and events are free for the children and grandchildren under the age of 18 of Friends of the Historial.

    Becoming a Friend of the Historial of the Great War  entitles you to :

    • Unlimited  and free visits  to the Historial in Péronne and Thiepval
    •  Free  participation in all workshops with your family (workshops are available during school holidays, some weekends and public holidays)
    •  Free  participation in events and special invitations (previews, themed evenings, conferences, Nuit des Musées, etc.)
    •  A 5% discount on books in our two shops  (Péronne and Thiepval)
    • An invitation to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Historial of the Great War

    The individual annual subscription (calendar year) is €25.
    Once you have joined, you will receive a card enabling you to benefit from all the advantages.

    Are you a professional or a company?
    You can contribute to the development of the Historial by supporting its ambitions:

    • Remembrance: Conveying a message of peace and tolerance and building on our approaches to different nations
    • Education: Work with us to develop the historical knowledge we want to pass on to young people and develop a shared history;
    • Promoting heritage: Maintaining and developing remembrance tourism, at memorial sites and museums, but also through landscapes;
    • Attractiveness of the region: Maintaining and developing sustainable tourism throughout the region and creating remembrance trails.
